Best Practices Before Sharing
Review for sensitive information
Review for sensitive information
Before sharing, check your conversation for:
- Accidentally included secrets, credentials, or API keys
- Internal data that shouldn’t be visible externally
- File contents or code that may be confidential
Consider your audience
Consider your audience
- Will the technical level match the intended readers?
- Are there assumptions that need additional context?
- Would someone unfamiliar with your project understand the goals?
Test the link
Test the link
Open the shared link in a private/incognito browser window to verify:
- The conversation displays correctly
- All important context is included
- Code examples and media render properly
