Workshop is agentic coding for builders who don’t code. You bring the domain expertise, Workshop brings the execution. There are two ways to get started.

Workshop Cloud

Build directly in your browser. No downloads, no setup, no configuration. Workshop Cloud is ideal when you want to go from idea to working app as fast as possible. It runs your code in a managed sandbox environment, gives you a live preview as you build, and lets you publish with one click. Best for: Dashboards, data apps, internal tools, prototypes, and anything you want to share quickly.

Workshop Cloud Quickstart

Sign up and build your first app in under 5 minutes.

Workshop Desktop

Full-stack development power on your local machine. Any language, any framework, your files. Workshop Desktop gives you complete flexibility. Work with any tech stack, access your local file system, run local AI models, connect MCP servers, and deploy anywhere. It’s the full development environment for projects that need more than a sandbox. Best for: Full-stack web apps, mobile apps, local utilities, projects with specific framework requirements, and working with existing codebases.
Build with local models — free, private, and offline. Workshop Desktop supports local AI models through Ollama and llama.cpp. No API costs, no data leaving your machine, and no internet connection required.

Not Sure Which to Pick?

Start with Workshop Cloud. It’s the fastest way to experience Workshop and requires zero setup. You can always move to Desktop later if your project needs it. If you want a detailed breakdown of features, capabilities, and trade-offs:

What They Share

A system-aware agent that works end-to-end Workshop’s agent understands the full workflow — what to build, which connectors to use, and how to get things ready to ship. It works across Cloud and Desktop, powered by frontier models or local models. A real runtime environment The agent works inside a real execution environment. In Workshop Cloud, that environment runs in the cloud. In Workshop Desktop, it runs on your machine, with access to local files, runtimes, and your existing tools. The stack isn’t preset — Workshop builds across whatever tech fits the project. Managed connections to AI and your systems Workshop handles model selection, credentials, billing, and rate limits through managed connectors for Anthropic, OpenAI, and Gemini — or bring your own keys. Beyond AI, Workshop connects to databases, warehouses, GitHub, and the tools your workflows depend on. Built-in publishing and sharing When you’re ready to ship, Workshop handles hosting — no separate deployment project needed. Publishing includes access control: share publicly or with specific people, as part of the same flow.
